On the hottest day of the year so far Bedford Castle Lodge held its summer Barbeque for circa 50 members and their guests. The Worshipful Master and his wife gave all a wonderful day, in tandem benefitting their chosen charity Young lives vs Cancer (formerly Clique Sargent ) by raising £1100 which when added to that raised at the Spring lunch produced a total donation of in excess of £3000
